Blogger kennen das. Man erzählt etwas über Blogs und man sieht grosses Erstaunen beim Gesprächspartner. Erklärungsversuche führen häufig auch nur zu einem mitleidigen "ach so, ja, ich verstehe", in der Hoffnung, dass nun recht bald das Thema gewechselt werden kann, weil der Gesprächspartner leider immer noch keinen blassen Schimmer hat, worüber man redet. Bestenfalls kommt das obligatorische "Ach, Online-Tagebücher!".

Das Schöne an Blogs ist, dass man sie eben nicht in 3 Sätzen erklären kann. Blogs haben viele Gemeinsamkeiten, aber ausser dem chronologischen Auflisten von Beiträgen ist nichts wirklich zwingend. Weder Themen, noch Format, noch Häufigkeit der Beiträge, noch die Software sind vorgegeben.

Ein Blog ist, was man daraus macht.

So einfach ist das. Die einzige Regel, die es gibt, ist das es keine gibt.

قصه از نوشتن يك نامه ساده به ربكا بلاد شروع شد: «من روزنامه‌نگاری هستم از ايران كه ...» و دعوت به انجام يك گفت‌وگو كه نتيجه‌اش برایم خيلی جالب بود.
گفتن ندارد كه حتماً اسم ربكا بلاد و وبلاگ پرطرفدارش، «جيب ربكا» يا Rebecca's Pocket (به نشانی www.rebeccablood.net) به گوشتان خورده است. كمتر از بيست و چهار ساعت بعد، پاسخ ربكا را دريافت كردم كه از موضوع استقبال كرده بود. به اين ترتيب طی چند بار نامه‌نگاری، يك گفت‌وگوی حسابی برای ماهنامه دنيای کامپيوتر و ارتباطات انجام داديم.
محور پرسش و پاسخ‌های اين گفت‌وگو، «وبلاگ» است و نوشتن در اين بستر نو برای مواجهه با مخاطب. لحن اين گپ و گفتی را كه با ربكا داشتم به صورت محاوره‌ای درآورده‌ام تا همان حال و هوايی كه در دنيای وبلاگ‌ها تجربه‌اش را داريم، حفظ كرده باشم.

Dieses ist eine Appel der iranischen bloggers an all diejenigen, die dieses lesen.
Seit dem Ende April 2003, hat die iranische Regierung die Filter auferlegt und Zugang zum Internet blockiert und zensiert. Dieses wird durch das Kommunikationsministerium getan, das unter der Steuerung der Regierung Khatamis ist (der sogenannten Reformer). Man kann das Klerikerteil des Regimes nicht nur tadeln, selbst wenn sie die Praxis stützen.

Herauf bis zu dem heutigen Tage haben viele Iranier die Regierung (den Reformern) unterstützt, aber nicht das Klerikerteil des Regimes. Indem der Zensor des Internets auferleget worden ist, zeigt Khatami und seine Regierung, daß sie auch nicht viel besser als die Hardliners sind. Wir Iranier möchten die Unterstützung der freien und bewußten Weltbürger aufsuchen, uns im Kampf gegen Unterdrückung vom Diktatorregime in Teheran zu helfen.

Indem Sie eine Verbindung zu dieser Seite geben, geben Sie den Iraniern grosse Unterstützung im Kampf gegen das Klerikerregime im Iran.

As you can see here, we have the FIRST FEMALE IRAQI blogger posting for us. First of all, I would like to welcome Zainab and thank her for taking the time and effort to write and tell us about the situation in Iraq. I understand it is not an easy task. Also, we have been hearing so far from the men - it is time we heard from some women.

For the readers, we have a few requests -
1. Please keep an open mind while reading her. You might or might not like it, but it is her opinion. She is entitled to have it. Please respect that.

I know that one day there will be agreat revolution against the Americans and now we have the first seeds of that revolution . many Iraqi soldiers have demonstrated on june 18th in front of ORHA(the republican palace) claiming their rights of either having salaries or retired

Though this incident had been proceeded by many others , nevertheless, it is the first time like having a really organized activity , they where absolutely agitated or furious against the Americans . A convoy was trying to get inside ,one of the Americans got panic and started shooting at the masses ,two Iraqis got killed others wounded , terrible scarey scene . You have two sides each is inflicting the other great losses and its only the beginning . Did you know that at the beginning of the invasion everybody said it’s a bless getting rid of Saddam Hussien but it turns to be an ever lasting curse,haw could they just go leaving the biggest oil reservoir in the region, they have planned to stay, accept it or not ,the staunting thing is what the people want naw (the return of Saddam the tyrant)!!! . When you think thoroughly about it you find it logical & reasonable ,during the past regime there were safety &work chances(money) BUT, THERE IS NO FREEDOM, naw there is freedom without safety or public services with very very mini work opportunities , so normally they prefer the past time of saddam ........

Iranian bloggers speak their minds via the Internet, reports Reuters and CNN. One particular blogger, faheshe.persianblog.com, has received much attention in the English-language press. Reuters labeled her a 'prostitute' and CNN's headline ran as, 'Prostitute diary tops Iran Web hit.'

The reportage has elicited a strong response from sister blogger, LadySun, who denounces their reporting as 'irresponsible' and has posted a petition online.
