Blogger als Berichterstatter
Dieses Wochenende steigen Weltweite Anti-Kriegs-Demos. Und blogger überhnehmen einen Teil der Berichterstattung ...:
This Saturday, anti-war activists will demonstrate in cities across the globe. One site is using innovative means to cover the protests: Lulop.com. The Italian company will channel independently produced video coverage of anti-war demonstrations in Europe for live broadcast on New York City's Free Speech Television and other European media outlets. Lulop.com spokesman Lorenzo Manes says, "We think public internet newsgathering is a reality, and an emerging alternative to satellite or electronic newsgathering." He says the company's mission is to bring video diversity to an increasingly concentrated broadcast world. Lulop.com -- which also runs an active weblog, Lulop.org -- works with at least 12 active contributors and as many as 100 sometime contributors.
