Now we can create an electronic page that looks like the newspaper, only better. Click on an image, and a video begins to play, without ever losing the feeling that you're still looking at a printed page.
A key feature of the Newsbook is that it has pages, just like a newspaper or magazine. There's no scrolling, like on the Web. The photos and graphics are in stunning color, and they're not separate from the story. They're positioned where they best relate to the reader, just as we try to do in print. The reading experience is comparable to the experience of reading a newspaper. But with video and audio, it also "talks."
Print it out, and it looks like a high-quality glossy magazine. While the Newsbook is what we at the Rocky have to offer now, Roger also has used the same software to develop a portable electronic edition of a newspaper in a page-based format.
